In Innovation Pavilion’s constant quest to add value to entrepreneurs and build up communities founder, Vic Ahmed, has had a vision for a media production infrastructure to promote entrepreneurs and special initiatives from our community in order to share ideas, promote startup businesses, and making IP programing more accessible through LIVE Streaming Video. Luckily, he was approached by DigitalContent LLC GM Jock Mirow – who brought the necessary technological infrastructure experience to make Vic’s dream a reality.

“Entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and students need the ability to share and transfer their stories, failures, and successes. It’s been my vision to provide a platform for this, and Inside IP gives the ability to share these messages around the country and globe,” said Ahmed. “It is a huge step in building international entrepreneurial ecosystems.”

The show is being produced by Kaos Connect and webcast DigitalContent.TV.  Interested parties can contact Kerianne Leffew at for more information on future shows and programming.

Mayor of Lincoln and city leaders visit IP

Mayor Beutler of Lincoln, Nebraska and a group of city leaders visited IP in May to discuss the unique IP model. The group spent a whole day in Colorado, visiting the 21st century library in Colorado Springs and STEM School and Academy in Highlands Ranch. At the end of the visit, Mayor Beutler was joined by mayors of Greenwood Village, Centennial and Parker for a roundtable session on how cities will solve the modern innovation challenge to better serve their citizens.

The Lincoln mayoral visit was a result of a long term effort of IP’s city expansion, aiming to bring the IP model across the nation to build a network of innovation campuses. The Mayor Beutler and his group have been pioneers of city innovation and were impressed by the potential IP’s campus can bring to the City of Lincoln. The special roundtable session “City of the Future,” hosted by IP’s CEO Vic Ahmed, also invited local leaderships including CEO of Denver South Economic Development Partnership and representatives of Colorado Technology Association and more.

U Grok It, Inc has announced that it has sold its assets to Turck, a global leader in industrial automation, including the Smartphone RFID product line. Turck initially licensed the U Grok It technology in 2016 to launch its PD-Ident handheld, and saw additional value in ownership of the technology and product line.

“The Smartphone RFID technology expands Turck’s presence in RFID, by leveraging the power and benefits of RFID with an efficient and affordable reader,” said Chris Vitale, Director of Fieldbus Technology at Turck. “This is a great enhancement to our RFID offering, and gives us a base for further handheld expansion.”

Turck will continue to support the Smartphone RFID platform, including flexible development tools that allow companies and developers to create tailored RFID solutions. The fully functioning handheld reader/writer is lightweight, easy to use and works with iOS, Android and Windows smart devices.

“We are excited about the potential the U Grok It concept has under Turck’s leadership,” said U Grok It Co- Founder and CEO, Carrie Requist. “Their vision for the future, existing customer base and support resources will enable Smartphone RFID to scale faster – which will non-industrial/commercial businesses to have access to the benefits of RAIN RFID.”
